Elif Bozkurt was a post-doctoral associate at the Language Technologies Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. Her primary research interests include nonverbal human behavior analysis, speech and multimodal signal processing particularly for healthcare applications. She received both her PhD and MS degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Koc University. Her PhD research focused on affective speech-driven gesture synthesis. During her MS she worked on emotion recognition from speech.
