Behnaz Nojavanasghari was a visiting scholar at the Language Technologies Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. Her research interests are in the intersection of affective computing, computer vision and machine learning with a particular focus on multimodal emotion recognition for children. Behnaz is a PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Central Florida. Before starting her graduate studies, she has received her B.S. in computer science from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).
