Commencing two reading groups for Spring 2018

Every week we discuss a predecided paper in a roundtable format. As it is a discussion based session, all participants get a chance to express their opinions, and highlight the good, the bad, and the ugly of the paper.

Affective Computing Reading Group
This reading group focuses on recent papers that study human communicative behaviors, emotional state and behavioral traits. We read recent published work in venues such as IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, ACII, ICMI, HRI and UbiComp.
Multimodal Machine Learning Reading Group
This reading group focuses on recent papers on machine learning methods, including deep neural networks, to represent and integrate multimodal data. We read recently published papers from venues such as NIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, ICML and ICCV conferences.
